Our Legacy

Shivalal Agarwala & Company is a prominent educational publisher with a strong presence in northern India, specialising in books for school and college students. Founded in 1940 by Shri Radhey Mohan Agarwal, a dedicated freedom fighter, the company began by publishing high-quality, authentic History books. Over the years, we have had the privilege of publishing works by eminent personalities, including Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr. Pattabhi Sitaramayya, Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, Shri Jadunath Sarkar, G. S. Sirdosi, and A. L. Srivastava.

With the advent of diverse educational boards and the growing demand for school education, we expanded our catalogue to include titles for primary, secondary, and undergraduate levels. Today, we publish over 500 titles that cover the syllabi of various boards and universities across multiple subjects. As prominent players in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, we remain committed to quality, affordability, and accuracy—continually refining our content to ensure excellence.
